Real estate debt
Our real estate debt strategy makes investment across the capital structure providing access to private debt and credit investment via loans backed by real estate across diverse property types and sectors. The team invests in whole loan and mezzanine finance, development finance, capital expenditure funding. A full pledge of shares typically secures the whole loan or alternatively with mezzanine or bond issues a second pledge after the financing bank with standard SPV security package and LMA documentation. The Bond issues maybe either rated Public Bonds marketed with prospectus or Private Placement issues all being ISIN registered and regulated by relevant National Bank. We have an extensive debt origination network and with our in-house structuring, syndication, debt structuring capabilities we are able to provide customised strategies. Real Estate Debt can provide an attractive risk adjusted return potential compared to fixed income. Returns- Well-structured debt offers potential for consistent relatively high coupons with additional potential for upside equity participation.
